At Hawaii Tropical Fish Gardens, our Water Mosaic Plants are locally grown at our facility in Eden Roc. The individual cutting you receive will multiply into many more with minimal effort in the right environment. Sold as a bare root cutting in a plastic bag to retain moisture.

Perfect for ponds, water gardens, or large aquariums, they create natural shade and provide habitat for fish while enhancing your aquatic landscape with exceptional beauty.

Best grown in warm, shallow water with gentle circulation. Regular pruning encourages fuller, more symmetrical rosettes.

We take great care to ensure the health and safety of our live fish and aquatic plants during transit. All orders are carefully packed and shipped from our facility in Mountain View, Hawaii. We currently ship fish and plants to all Hawaiian Islands and the west coast of the mainland USA.

Shipping Time: 2–3 business days via priority shipping

Packaging Fee: $10–15 per shipment (based on order size)

Shipping Rates

We select the shipping method based on your location and the species being shipped, always prioritizing the fastest and safest route possible. Shipping rates are calculated at checkout based on package size, weight, and delivery location. We strive to keep shipping costs as low as possible while ensuring safe delivery. Please look for a confirmation email with the invoice for your order with the correct shipping rate, since sometimes rates may vary based on the weight and shipping preference.

Live Arrival Guarantee

We offer a Live Arrival Guarantee on all livestock (fish and aquatic plants), provided the following conditions are met:

Someone must be present to receive and open the package immediately upon delivery.

Any issues must be reported within 2 hours of delivery, with clear photos of the packaging and the DOA (Dead on Arrival) items.

Packages marked as “Delivered” by the carrier but left unattended are not covered.

If the above conditions are met, we will offer store credit or replacement (when available), not including shipping costs.

Returns & Cancellations

Live Fish & Plants: Due to the nature of shipping live animals, we do not accept returns on live fish or aquatic plants.

Dry Goods: Unopened, non-perishable items may be returned within 14 days. Buyer is responsible for return shipping costs.

Order Cancellations: Orders may be canceled before shipment. Once an order has been packed or shipped, it cannot be canceled.
