Planting Tips
Use a wide, shallow planting container (10–14 inches in diameter).
Fill with heavy clay soil or aquatic plant mix—avoid light, fluffy potting soils.
Place a thin layer of gravel on top of the soil to hold it in place and prevent fish from digging.
Slowly lower the pot into the pond, placing it at a depth where 12–24 inches of water covers the crown.
Fertilize monthly during the growing season with aquatic plant tabs for continuous blooms.
Remove yellowing leaves or old flowers regularly to promote new growth.

- Carriers: USPS Priority Express or FedEx Overnight/2-Day

- Processing Time: 5–7 business days
- Shipping Time: 2–3 business days via priority shipping
- Packaging Fee: $10–15 per shipment (based on order size)
- Note: Shipments are coordinated to avoid weekend delays to ensure safe arrival of live animals.
Shipping Rates
We select the shipping method based on your location and the species being shipped, always prioritizing the fastest and safest route possible. Shipping rates are calculated at checkout based on package size, weight, and delivery location. We strive to keep shipping costs as low as possible while ensuring safe delivery. Please look for a confirmation email with the invoice for your order with the correct shipping rate, since sometimes rates may vary based on the weight and shipping preference.
Live Arrival Guarantee
We offer a Live Arrival Guarantee on all livestock (fish and aquatic plants), provided the following conditions are met:
- Someone must be present to receive and open the package immediately upon delivery.
- Any issues must be reported within 2 hours of delivery, with clear photos of the packaging and the DOA (Dead on Arrival) items.
- Packages marked as “Delivered” by the carrier but left unattended are not covered.
If the above conditions are met, we will offer store credit or replacement (when available), not including shipping costs.

Returns & Cancellations
- Live Fish & Plants: Due to the nature of shipping live animals, we do not accept returns on live fish or aquatic plants.
- Dry Goods: Unopened, non-perishable items may be returned within 14 days. Buyer is responsible for return shipping costs.
- Order Cancellations: Orders may be canceled before shipment. Once an order has been packed or shipped, it cannot be canceled.
