Whether youโre a hobbyist, breeder, or business, John provides tailored advice to ensure healthy aquatic environments and successful fishkeeping. ๐ผ Service Includes: - System design for aquariums or ponds (indoor & outdoor) - Stocking recommendations (fish, invertebrates, and plants) - Equipment advice (filters, lighting, aeration, etc.) - Water quality troubleshooting & improvement - Algae control strategies - Aquascaping and layout planning - Routine maintenance planning - Disease prevention and treatment guidance ๐ Consultation Rates Service Type Rate - Initial On-Site Consultation (1 hour) $120 flat rate - Follow-Up or Remote Consultation $75/hour - Ongoing Maintenance Advice (via email/video) $50/hour - Aquascaping & Setup Planning (Custom Design) $95/hour All consultations include a post-visit summary and care recommendations. ๐ Travel & Delivery Fees Fees may vary depending on distance from Hawaii Tropical Fish Gardens. Distance from Base Travel Within 10 miles Free 11โ25 miles $25 26โ50 miles $45 Over 50 miles $65+ (quote required) If purchasing fish or plants with your consultation, an additional fee will apply for delivery. Please review our booking policy to ensure a smooth and professional consultation experience. ๐ How to Book Consultations can be scheduled by email at islandaquaticcare.llc@yahoo.com or by phone at (808)987-7643. Appointments must be booked at least 48 hours in advance. Availability is limited and confirmed on a first-come, first-served basis. ๐ต Consultation Rates - Initial On-Site Visit (1 hour): $120 - Follow-Up or Remote Consultation: $75/hour - Aquascaping & Setup Planning: $95/hour - Ongoing Remote Support (Email/Video): $50/hour A post-consultation care summary is included in all sessions. ๐ Travel & Delivery Fees Fees are based on distance from Hawaii Tropical Fish Gardens: Distance From Base Travel/Delivery Fee Within 10 miles Free 11โ25 miles $25 26โ50 miles $45 Over 50 miles $65+ (Quote Required) Equipment or Live Delivery $15โ$35 (Based on Order) Live fish or plant deliveries include acclimation guidance if requested. ๐ Rescheduling & Cancellations Free rescheduling is allowed up to 24 hours before your appointment. Cancellations made less than 24 hours in advance are subject to a $25 cancellation fee. No-shows will be charged 50% of the consultation fee. ๐ณ Payment Payment is due at the time of service (cash, card, or digital payment).
